Peppermint Mocha - copycat Starbucks recipe...the healthier version

Love a good Peppermint Mocha this time of year? I do to but I don’t always like to spend the money or load up on the sugar! I’ve been making this copycat, healthy version for years and still love it this time of year. If you’re new to the bulletproof coffee, it might take a little getting used to but I’ve found that it’s really filling and I’m sad when I don’t start my morning with it.

Here’s what you’ll need to make it:
- TBLS ghee butter
- TBLS raw honey
- TBLS cacao
- 1/3 cup “milk”
- scoop of collagen
- one 💧 dōTERRA Peppermint
- coffee
- frother ☺️

A good frother makes all the difference! You can find one of my must have hand-frother here.

For all the step-by-step be sure to check out my recent YouTube video.

Ditch and Switch

It seems like every year when January rolls around we’re looking for a way to detox, purge, get back to some semblance of normal after all the delicious yet high sugar and fat foods of the Holidays, am I right? There is also an amount of purging that goes on in our homes as we make room for all the new Christmas gifts, have a little time to sort the kids outgrown clothes or maybe realize your own clothes don’t fit like they use to.

So, what about how you clean and take care of your home? You’ve probably at least thought about all the chemicals that are in the different cleaning, body and beauty products you use. If you haven’t that’s a whole other post…anything from toxic cancer causing ingredients, dyes, hormone disruptors and more! No one should be subjecting their body to that much yuck!

It’s time for CHANGE! It’s time for little swaps that can make a BIG difference!

Join me live on FB or Instagram, Thursday January 14th at 12pm Central for a Ditch and Switch class. I’ll show you how to make cleaning products, give you recipes I already use throughout my home as well as some cost effective, natural solutions that work for taking care of your body! See you then!

Pure Beeswax Candles

Pure beeswax candle making! So fun, so easy, we’ll be doing it again for sure!
.
All you need:
• Vessels to pour the wax.
• Beeswax
• Stainless steel vessel to melt the wax (using double boiler method), and wicks. I ordered off #amazon but I’m sure your local craft store has supplies too. You can even make your own wicks.
• We added a few of our favorite essential oils too. The big one is our two favorite holiday scents!
.
Who’s all about making some candles now? 🙋🏻‍♀️

🎃 1.5-2 Tbls. Pumpkin purée.
🤍 1-2 Tbls. sugar or maple syrup.
